The device tunnels raw serial over TCP/UDP with Telnet/RFC2217 and a Windows virtual COM (Com Port Redirector) driver; it does not parse or convert Modbus frames, so a standard Modbus TCP client cannot address a serial Modbus RTU slave through it. |
