ANMA — a global knowledge base and System Builder for modern energy systems

ANMA is an independent engineering project that brings technical information about today's and tomorrow's energy equipment into one structured place. It is not a one-brand catalogue and it is not a store. The idea is to combine a technical “Wikipedia” for energy hardware with a System Builder where real configurations can be assembled, visualized and checked for compatibility.

What ANMA collects

ANMA is being built as a broad, structured and verifiable database for solar energy, energy storage, backup power, electric mobility, monitoring and automation. It can cover hybrid and grid-tied inverters, microinverters, PV modules, LV and HV batteries, BMS and battery controllers, external MPPT controllers, smart meters, current transformers, EV chargers, optimizers, gateways, communication hardware, ESS/PCS systems, backup equipment and new categories that appear as energy technology evolves.

For each product, ANMA aims to preserve much more than a model name and marketing power number: electrical limits, MPPTs and physical inputs, voltage and current ranges, battery protocols, dimensions, protection, certifications, regional variants, images, datasheets, manuals, compatibility lists, source provenance and a traceable history of technical verification.

A technical Wikipedia for energy equipment

The Knowledge Base normalizes products from many manufacturers into one searchable structure. Official datasheets, manuals and compatibility lists are preferred. Conflicting safety-relevant values are kept visible for review instead of being silently overwritten, so the database can preserve both evidence and uncertainty.

System Builder

The Builder starts with the inverter as the central node. PV strings can be assigned to specific MPPTs and physical inputs, then connected with batteries, smart meters and CTs, EV charging, microinverters / AC coupling, external MPPT controllers and other equipment. The goal is to represent a real physical system rather than a shopping list.

Compatibility with evidence

ANMA is designed to explain why components match. Checks may include maximum DC voltage, cold Voc, MPPT windows, current, Isc, permitted PV power, DC/AC ratio, LV/HV battery architecture, BMS and protocols, official pairing lists, meter topology, backup operation and parallel-system rules. If evidence is insufficient, the result should remain unknown or limited rather than becoming a false green verdict.

Documents are part of the knowledge base

Datasheets, installation guides, user manuals, Modbus documentation, compatibility matrices, certificates and other technical files are linked to the relevant product, region, revision and source. Over time this library is intended to become a technical reference layer of its own, reducing the need to search across dozens of manufacturer portals.

Projects, regional data and future services

Registered users can save systems, share read-only project links and use regional price history. Premium adds professional workflow features such as print/PDF export, unlimited saved projects and advanced tools. The roadmap also includes structured API access so verified equipment and compatibility data can be reused by external software and engineering workflows.

Built for the energy systems of today and tomorrow

ANMA is intended to grow with the industry. New inverter families, battery architectures, charging systems, energy management devices, grid services, communication protocols and future categories can be added without turning the platform into a static catalogue. The long-term goal is a living engineering knowledge graph for modern energy systems.
